Linda Tillery is one of the most underrated Soul vocalists. Here’s a wonderful tune co-written by the multi-talented Brazilian guitarist Ray Obiedo. It’s the title track taken from her third solo LP released on 411/Redwood Records in 1985.
The legendary harmonies of The Dramatics are best showcased here on this divine ballad taken from their 1980 LP “10½” released on MCA Records. Production is by L.J. Reynolds and Ron Banks, both great vocalists who later established a solo career in 1981 and 1983 respectively.

It’s worthy to note that Gordon Grody later became backing vocalist for the legendary Disco group CHANGE and then lead vocalist for the group ZINC (both groups produced by Jacques Fred Petrus).

A real seductive / sensual offering from French-Belgian singer Viktor Lazlo (real name: Sonia Dronier). Kicks off with a wonderful spoken intro and builds into a delightful melody. Released as a 7” single on Polydor Records in 1985.
This is a superb rendition of the 1980 hit recorded by The Average White Band. Produced and arranged by Skip Scarborough & Jerry Peters providing an extra smooth Jazzy backdrop. Taken from his excellent LP “I believe in love” released on A&M Records in 1981.
