This is a totally neglected Soul ballad released right in the beginning of the new millennium by a fantastic crooner called Jerry Brooks. It features all these quality ingredients you’re looking for in a great Soul record: Indie sound, sultry lyrics, smooth backdrop and velvet vocals. Taken from his CD album “I’ll be there if you ever need me” released on !4th Floor Productions in 2000.
