Japanese Jazz trombonist Hiroshi Fukumura collaborates with US session vocalist Sybil Thomas providing a marvelous Soul ballad. Taken from his 1985 LP “Hot shot” released on Apollon Music Corp. in Japan. Many thanks to my friend SoulLakis for reminding me this lost gem.

RONNIE WALKER – “You’ve got to try harder (times are bad)” - 1974

Ronnie B. Walker recorded some 7” singles from 1967 to 1975. The one I chose from 1974 is really something! Just to mention that is co-written, arranged and co-produced by the great Vincent Montana Jr. Released on Event Records Inc.
