This is my little tribute to Spencer Harrison. He was one of the most promising new singers emerging in the late 80s. He passed away quite unexpectedly in 1994 at the young age of 32. For more info about Spencer, visit the following link: http://www.soulwalking.co.uk/Spencer%20Harrison.html
The track I’ve chosen in his honor, is a classy collaboration with the late sax legend Grover Washington Jr. showcasing his amazing vocal talents. Taken from Grover’s 1987 LP “Strawberry moon” released on Columbia Records.

Been after a decent copy of this too for ages. Saw him with Norman Connors and Michael Henderson. He stole the show, and his version of 'Invitation' was incredible. WHAT A VOICE - what a waste !!!!
