CRYSTAL WINDS - "Love ain't easy" (1982)

This is what RARE GROOVE is all about. Amazing door bell intro, inspired mellow changes, snappy rhythm, soulful vocals, funky instrumentation, you name it - simply awesome!!! CRYSTAL WINDS are Paul Coleman and Cortez Brown from Chicago. The track is taken from their only 1982 LP "First flight" released on Cash Ear Records.

This is what Rare Groove is all about... You said the best part of it brother!! What else to add? Oh, only this: Let's move back in 1982... The shape of things to come out of the underground. As always is the case! Be it tecnho, house, hip hop or whatever, it's just that little moment before it goes mainstream. And such unique moments are the real joy...

you know Morris Cortez Brown is actually my father. I'm sure he would love to see people still vibing to his music. I took after him slightly but on the turntables. They're coming out with some more music, writing for various artists, etc... I'll post some more stuff on this blog when it comes out in the near future. in the meantime. DJToure@gmail.com.
