SPLENDOR feat. Sascha Meeks - “Splendorland” (1979)

One of the finest Soul steppers oozing pure brilliance. It also features a superb flute solo by Jerome Richardson along with a sublime sax solo by Don Myrick (of Phoenix Horns).

Splendorous music co-produced by Philip Bailey, Tommy Vicari and Robertt Nunn (aka Bobby Nunn) who also wrote this classic gem. Taken from their only self-titled LP released on Columbia Records in 1979.

Everytime I hear it, I'm in another place and time...
The arrangement is flawless and all the players perform passionately, with great skill!!!
Finally, Sascha Meeks' voice cannot be described...
It can only be felt!!!
