Alan Jeffers is a Dutch guy. This is very nice early disco single produced by Martin Duiser, who would work with Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Joe Cocker, Gary Brooker, Toto, Simple Minds and Alan Parsons later on in his career.

And Allan Jeffers came to number 24 in the Dutch charts in the early spring of 1978. And I agree, Nicolas, it is a feel good gem!

Bloody marvellous old chap !!!
Didn't know this tune at all - but vibes, strings and a disco beat? I'm there! Thanks so much for this Nicolas.

Many thanks to my friend Phil Ward who informed me that the original version of this song was recorded by the Chi-Lites back in 1977.

Correction Allan Jeffers is not Dutch. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was my uncle.....
